Its been a week

its been a week since she passed away
the sadness is fading away day by day
but i do hope my memory of her wont fade away
so i keep praying for her all the way...
its been a week since i last updated this page
i got so many photos in my storage
but there's no mood nor courage
i guess it's time i take 1 out of cage

Dearest friends,
today was supposed to be a day of joy for me as me and flatmates hosted an open house. while i was preparing myself for the party, i received a really terrible news that my grandmother had passed away around 6am (Malaysian time) from long-suffering illness.
i am sorry for not being able to entertain most of you guys while you were at my house but this news came too much as a shock to me. i'm sorry that i had to take some 'alone time' but i'm sure u had a great time nevertheless. i chose not to break the news at the time as i didn't want to ruin the raya mood.
i hope through this fotopages, you and the visitors would be kind enough to spare a few seconds of your time to dedicate Al-Fatihah for her. only Allah can reward you for your kindness.

salam and hi,
how u doing,guys? i'm still gutted and bitter by the fact that the all blacks is out of the world cup..again. beaten by the supposedly "underdog"...again. how can this be happening? they didn't play as poorly as they did four years ago against the wallabies. in fact they played really well despite having many unfair decisions against them.
if they played badly then they deserve to lose, i don't mind. but they all played really well. that's what really gets me.i guess that's the glory of sport; the despair of not knowing what more you could have done to win a game.
when i saw McCaw crying during the post-match interview, i unconsciously (and rather shamelessly) shed a few tears myself. wow, i cant believe i cared that much for the ab . but i did cry and the commentator's quote that faithful morning, " Big men do cry" did apply to me as well.
i have been following the past 2 world cups rather passionately after i learnt more about the game and the all blacks and now i have to wait for another bloody four years hoping they could finally win the cup. next world cup will be in nz and hopefully by that time i could afford to come here again to see the matches.
here is a photo of me and the lads during the once glorious time of the AB against South Africa couple of months ago. don't u just wish u could go back in time and tweak the future for the better?

Undergrad raya photo

Salam guys,
how's fasting life been treating you? hope you manage to get through the day without sneaking into the toilet to drink tap water and deceive your mum into making her pay you $2 for everyday that you fast.
Anyway, it is that time of the year when malaysian students overseas send their raya photo to the local press, hoping to impress the family members as well as deceiving the overseas-bound students back home into thinking that raya and fasting overseas can be really emotional without the families around. i personally think celebrating raya overseas is just as fun as back home. the fasting is also great. the break fast is even greater. which is why i've already gained 2kg since the 1st day of fasting. yes i gain weight im not kidding.
enough with my penniless thoughts, today i've been photographing the undergraduates of university of canterbury. not all turned up unfortunately and that kinda sucks. i mean, when else can you take photo with me in my beautiful baju melayu? haha.
here is the photo and i wanna take this opportunity to say thanks to all for the cooperation during the making of this photo 
i also took other photos but i dont feel like putting them here (at least not today). U can definitely ask me the photos later if u want. meet me, text me, call me, u can do anything baby.
after the group photo i went to the classic canterbury uni sign with alif and razwi. i have been visualizing this image for a long time and finally i got the chance to do it and i really like the outcome.
thanks alif and razwi for being there with me. it's gonna look really stupid if i was going to do it alone

Salam.
this portrait of nadia was taken right after her ibu put the lovely pink tudung and baju kurung on her. she's so excited she jumped around and climbed over the chairs and the tv cabinet. while waiting for her parents to get dressed up for the family raya photo session, i spent some lovely time with this little lady.
i managed to shoot her actions while at the same time making sure she's not in danger from those climbing and jumping.
believe it or not, she used to cry just by looking at me. now we can hold hands together

here are a few of my shots during the KUC's raya photoshoot this evening. cik pelangibonda.com was the main photographer so i kinda lepak2 je shoot tadi. didnt shoot much but here are some of em that are worth sharing with u lads.
